There are so many stories online to choose from, but here are a few of my students' favorites. Watching stories together online is just one way to explore Earth Day. The trick is to find stories that inspire a sense of responsibility towards the planet, but that are also funny and engaging!

Earth Day Read Aloud #3
Biscuit's Earth Day Celebration by Alyssa Satin Capucilli: Join Biscuit the puppy as he participates in Earth Day activities like planting trees and cleaning up litter, teaching young readers about simple ways to care for the planet.
Earth Day Read Aloud #4
I Am Earth: An Earth Day Book For Kids by James McDonald
I Am Earth introduces students to the importance of taking care of our planet. This online video story is read by the author!
Finding read aloud picture books online is much easier than it used to be! This is wonderful for teachers who want to watch and enjoy stories along with their students, or give their students a chance to hear how other people read stories. By sharing Earth Day themed read aloud stories children can develop a sense of responsibility towards the planet we call home.
