HALLOWEEN STORIES FOR PRIMARY #1
"The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything" by Linda Williams: The little old lady is fearless! She encounters a series of spooky objects determined to scare her. With each encounter, she proves that courage can conquer fear in this lively, interactive story perfect for engaging my students. So fun!
HALLOWEEN STORIES FOR PRIMARY #2
"Big Pumpkin" by Erica Silverman and S.D. Schindler: This is a whimsical retelling of the classic folktale. A witch, a ghost, a vampire, and other Halloween characters work together to remove a stubborn pumpkin from its vine. This one has repetitive text that my students love, and vibrant illustrations.
HALLOWEEN STORIES FOR PRIMARY #3
"The Little Ghost Who Lost Her Boo!" by Elaine Bickell and Raymond McGrath: The main character is Ghost, and she has lost her "boo"! She embarks on a journey to find it again with the help of her woodland friends. My students love these charming illustrations that help teach about the importance of perseverance and friendship. This one is a keeper!
Have fun sharing these stories with your students! Don't forget to dim the lights and let the stories transport you to an enchanted land of gently spooky storytelling!
